“Arrived quickly in good condition. Used in planting our orchard, trees were stressed and dropping leaves upon transplanting. Within a week they were showing new growth and look great.”

“A struggling transplant and a struggling old rose bush returned to a beautiful vigor and vitality after two applications, one week apart. Now including this in my regular practice.”

“Love this stuff. I use it on all new transplants by pouring it over the roots, plus watering plants with it every month or so during the growing season. Plants are healthier and more resilient to drought conditions. Just make sure to get it down to the roots- it is not a foliar feeder, so don't need to pour it on the leaves. Works great!”

I have been using this product on and off since 2012 when I worked at Gardens of babylon in Nashville, TN. I now work for a permaculture landscaping company just outside of Atlanta Georgia, and when clients do not want to set up their own compost tea, I encourage them to work with this product. Wish a local store carried it. **Hint hint, wink wink**

Had an amazing beneficial impact.

Thanks for the prompt service. A fresh product is essential for microbes. When it sits on the shelf for six months, many if not most, of the microbes have died.

Actually soon to know fully if this will help the trees. Because we only applied two times. Probably won't know if the product is help until next year. We are hoping it will be helpful.

I've just started using it, so it's a bit soon to show visible results. But it is easily soluble as advertised, and I'm hopeful that I'll soon be seeing happier, more robust plants.

I used to work with the product a lot (10 yrs ago) before I started making KNF inputs. Since ive moved to a new place and have yet to make inputs, due to space, I purchased the lovely product again for a new construction garden input...As it is mostly clay... since its been so long the jury is out on if it will still work the same, I will update the review when I see some change...

I just got the product, so it’s hard to assess its effectiveness yet. However, the customer service from this company was fantastic. The product arrived very quickly. I’m looking forward to a bumper crop of tomatoes this year.

★★★★★
This was our third year starting our seedlings out. Root growth on the tomatoes and cucumbers is phenomenal. I look forward to getting them to their final home in the garden with the granular product. You should use a different shipper as it took USPS 3 weeks and 7 trips around Atlanta to get here.

I was impressed by the comprehensive list of organisms in this product. I read more than one big-time gardener small commercial farmer that this product provided the best results. I put it everywhere that mattered, including house plants. I may have stories to tell next year.

We have a paperbark maple that's a few years old that drops its leaves mid-summer. Very odd. An arborist we had out to look at the issue suggested we send some samples to WSU for testing but that didn't reveal anything. His other thought, since the home was new construction, was the soil was contaminated. He suggested using mycorrhizae to help to roots grow passed the bad soil.

We applied mycorrhizae last year and this summer the tree mostly held its leaves during summer. Yay! I applied some more this year too.

It seems to be helping. It's such a pretty tree I'm really hoping the tree survives. Mycorrhizae seems to be helping.

Must have for me, use it on all my plants, in any soil mix, and keep both soluble and granular on hand. Love it so much I buy the Great White and Plant Success, started using myco chum as well! Can't wait to receive my King Crab to get it in the mix! Wondering if it isas good as I say, try the samples and you'll be back!

This is some bomb innoculant. I'm in phoenix arizona, I put this stuff (dry, I didn't dissolve it...lazy) into the municipal compost i put around my yard in patches and within 2 days in the arid summer heat and 6 hours of full sun mushrooms sprouted like crazy. LiKE CRAZY!

My garden is not good. About the only thing that grow are beans! I'm planning my next years garden now, except for cabbages for sauerkraut. I'm planting other brassicas, too. I'm going to use this on them.

This year my flowers are exceptional, I have used Plant successSoluble Mycorrhizae in late march to feed them. Very happy with results

★★★★★
This is my favorite source for soil inoculants. I use regularly especially for my container plants and have definitely noticed stronger root mass and healthier plants. I prefer this to bagged soil that’s already inoculated because I usually see bags of soil kept out in the sun at the local nurseries and question the viability of the microorganisms under those conditions. Also like that a variety of strains are used instead of just one dominant mycos. Have been using this product since I saw it featured in a John Kohler video and it has definitely increased the health and vigor of my garden.

★★★★★
I'm not sure how you can garden without this stuff. If I could recommend one thing is the packaging, probably kind of petty on my part, but with the pouches, I'm prone to add a lot more product at each application then needed.

I'm just loving my purchase. I plan to buy more.

No razamatazz, no miracle language, no game changer, in other words: no online marketing crap.

Just honest and direct about their philosophy behind their ingredients and why YOU have the best chance of organic success when their products are used

There is a difference between marketing and confidence about their PRODUCT, there's no doubt in my mind that they're confident about their products through years of proven success by customers like me giving this a try and being totally thrilled with the results

YOU WON'T REGRET IT

What are mycorrhizae?

Mycorrhizae are fungi that team up with plant roots. They grow out from the root into the soil, like an extension of it, and reach water and nutrients the root can't reach alone. In return, the plant shares some of the sugars it makes.

There are two main kinds. Endomycorrhizae work inside the roots of most vegetables, flowers, lawns, shrubs and fruit trees. Ectomycorrhizae wrap around the roots of trees such as pines, oaks, birch and fir. Plant Success has both: 9 endo and 10 ecto species.

A few plant families don't form this partnership, such as the cabbage family (broccoli, kale, cabbage) and the heath family (blueberries, azaleas).

Questions

Granular or Soluble: which do I need?

Granular goes in at planting time, right next to the roots, and includes an organic 3-1-2 plant food. Soluble mixes with water for plants that are already growing, including pots and houseplants. Plenty of gardeners use Granular when they plant and Soluble after that.

Does it work on trees?

Yes. Plant Success has both kinds of mycorrhizae that trees use: 10 ectomycorrhizal species for trees like pines, oaks and birch, and 9 endomycorrhizal species for fruit trees, maples and shrubs. Use Granular in the hole when you plant a tree, or water in Soluble around trees already in the ground.

When should I apply it?

As early in the plant's life as you can. Planting or transplanting is the best time. Soluble can go on any time of year.

Does it have to touch the roots?

Yes. Put Granular in the hole, close to the root ball. Pour Soluble at the base of the plant so it soaks down to the roots.

Can I use too much?

You don't need more than the label rate. The rates are set so a little goes a long way.

Do I need to feed the microbes?

Organic matter helps. Compost, kelp, fish and humic products give soil life something to eat. Granular already includes organic plant food, and Soluble includes seaweed extract and humic acids.

How much is shipping?

Free on orders of $35 or more. Orders under $35 pay the shipping rate shown at checkout. We ship within the US.
